Children

At Christ the King, we embrace Jesus’ invitation for children to come to Him and His call for us to have faith like a child (Mark 10:13-16). We believe children have profound inherent value and offer a unique, essential perspective. Their care and nurture is a sacred and lifelong calling. At Christ the King, we see children as whole persons—active participants in the life of the church and leaders in worship from the earliest age.

Children join for the first part of worship until the sermon.  Before the sermon, the children are blessed and sent out, and return at the “Passing of the Peace.”

All baptized children are invited to fully participate at the Communion Table.
