End of Acts! – Proper 14 – August 13

Join us this Sunday for our final message on the book of Acts.  We’ll be looking at the last verses of Acts 28 which are left in an anticlimactic, open-ended sort of way.

Especially considering all the drama and movement of the book of Acts, the book ends with a basic observation of Paul living and teaching.

We believe Luke did this to help us to know that we are a part of the same story.  The book of Acts leads into our own lives.

This Sunday we’ll explore what that means – we are a part of the same story of Acts.  I look forward to worshipping with all of you.

Collect for this coming Sunday:

Grant to us, Lord, we pray, the spirit to think and do always those things that are right, that we, who cannot exist without you, may by you be enabled to live according to your will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
